Plant City is an incorporated city in Hillsborough County, FL. The city was named after prominent railroad developer Henry B. Plant. It is known as the winter strawberry capital of the world. Every year Plant City hosts the Florida Strawberry Festival. The subtropical climate of the area makes the city not only good for growing strawberries but also at attracting residents to the city.
In fact, a large majority of the city’s households are family households. Plant City has many amenities for its residents to enjoy. It has several parks that offer fishing and hiking trails, Dinosaur World, Bing Rooming House, and more. Being a family city also means that most times children can see their grandparents often.
